Green Week 2012

We have just celebrated Green Week 2012 at SCCS. This is a week when we think about the environment and how we can look after it. We learn about the environment in all of our lessons and take part in many trips and activities. Do you learn about global warming and the environment in the UNRWA School? We have an Eco-Committee of students who try and teach others to be more environmentally friendly.

SCCS International Evening 2012

Hello from a sunny London!
The weather has been really nice here for a few days and we are really enjoying the spring sunshine. On Friday evening we will be hosting our annual International Evening at SCCS. This is always a great event with lots of celebration of our global community. At SCCS we have students who come from many different countries including Bangladesh, Somalia, Cuba, Afghanistan, Kosovo and many more. At our International Eveneing we will share food from different countries. There will also be dance and musical performances.
We are preparing a display about the UNRWA School to give our students an opportunity to learn more about our partner school. We will post some photos after the event.
